Many of the pages on this web site offer photographs and information that may pertain to school subjects such as history, science, social studies, geography, international studies, genealogy, literature, journal writing, textile arts, and animal husbandry.

Besides my children's book web pages, of special interest for teachers and students are the following pages on this site: genealogy, journals and magazines, weaving and shepherding, and the kid's barn featuring a writer's loft and craft corral.

To access studies guides for each of my books, please click on the appropriate titles.

The background image on this web page is a photograph from my work-in-progress, When Rocks Speak, a book for children of all ages about rock art preservation around the world. Shown here is the Buckhorn Wash Pictograph Panel in the San Rafael Swell near Castle Dale, Utah. The woman on the ladder is, Constance Silver, an art conservator who helped to restore the ancient rock art images at this heritage site that had been damaged with bullet holes and graffiti.
